Custom Woven Patches

Tight-weave patches built for fine text, small logos, and apparel brands that care about detail.

Embroidery works best on thick designs. Making fine text and lines hard to read, especially in close-up shots. A tight loom weave provides a clean, flat finish of thin fonts, sharp edges, and complex artwork. At Capital Digitizing, we weave every patch from your exact design because the small details are usually what people remember.

WHY WOVEN PATCHES

Why Woven Patches
Win on Fine Detail

Ever magnified a patch and ended up with the text becoming fuzzy? That’s the difference between woven patches and closed patches. They are produced on a loom, using a smaller thread than embroidery, so that they can retain sharp lettering and detailed logos at a small size and also have a thin, smooth, flat face that is easy to lay down on light fabrics. If any brand feels the importance of the appearance of their mark when viewed up close, it is the custom-woven patches.

What is the difference between woven patches and embroidered patches?

There are two kinds of patches: embroidered and woven patches. Embroidered patches are done with heavier thread to create a textured, raised appearance, and woven patches are done on a loom with finer thread to create a flat finish.
Yes. The tight weave is able to catch even the smallest of text, lines, and complex logos that will not be blurred when embroidered.
Definitely, they are very thin and smooth, and they are recommended for caps, jackets, uniforms, and branded merchandise.
We do. Use sew-on, iron-on, hook and loop velcro, or peel and stick adhesive.
Very durable. The design is integrated into the cloth and will not fray or fade after numerous washes.

We DO NOT accept religious icons/crosses, adult art, alcohol brands, Israel/conflict art, or living being faces/animals. Live images allowed only without facial features.
